Your intuition is calling...

Writing advice to unlock your unique creative magic

Halloween is here. The veils are at their thinnest on Samhain as we prepare to step into the darkest parts of the year.

Your intuition is there, waiting for you to call on it and let it infuse your writing practice with the magic you’ve been missing.

And something I know to be true, down to my very bones, is that writing is magic.

Telling the story only you can tell? That’s magic. Getting into a flow state and letting the creative wave carry you along? Total magic! Taking the brave, vulnerable step of putting your writing out into the world so it can meet and change its readers? Magic, my friend.

It’s time to let it in. It’s time to let it unlock your unique creative magic.

Spending an hour with me is a great way to start.

During our one-hour coaching session, we will get weird, wild, and magical (as well as satisfyingly practical).

We’ll pull some cards and explore what they tell us about your creative practice—the things your intuition already knows are keeping you stuck, and what you need to get back on the broomstick and finish that book.

We’ll talk about ritualizing your writing practice so that it feels like a sacred, magical container for expressing your truest self (and not just another item on an endless to-do list).

We’ll lift up the rotten logs that are blocking the path to writing your book and watch all the little mindset monsters scurry out from underneath them. They never survive the sunlight of direct, compassionate scrutiny and after seeing them, you’ll know what to look out for.

We’ll talk about how you can start tapping into your intuition on a regular basis to sink more deeply into your creativity, write with more ease and flow, and figure out what writing practices work for you (not what someone else says “should” work).

We’ll talk about your biggest, dreamiest writing goals—and the small, achievable next step you can take on the path to achieving them.

These Get Unstuck Sessions are a condensed burst of book coaching magic. If your practice has felt stuck, stagnant, or stalled, an hour with me can help break the curse and get you writing again.

If you feel like you’re ready to reach for the next level of your practice but can’t quite see the path to getting there, we can find it together.

If you just want to really, really geek out about writing for an hour? I am 1,000% all in. Let’s go.

Get Unstuck Sessions are on sale through the end of next week—the first 10 people who book a session get $50 off. Is one of them yours?

For now, I am off to make some Samhain magic of my own. Enjoy the spooky scaries (or just have an extra candy bar!) and email me with any questions about what a Get Unstuck Session could do for you.

Let’s get magical. Your writing is worth it.

Yours in word witchery,

Bailey @ The Writing Desk

I do not use generative AI to write my newsletter, nor will I.

As a writer, I do not believe there is an ethical use case for generative AI in my creative practice or my business. That means everything you read here, from brilliance to BS, comes straight from my actual human brain.
